RITEWAY
Providing a long term solution for tennis court crack repair has always been a challenge. Many asphalt tennis court owners have decided to install alternative court surfaces to overcome the constant attention to structural cracking. RiteWay provides a proven long-term crack repair system for asphalt structural cracks.

Cracks are eliminated and unlike other repair systems, RiteWay means no dead spots, no bubbling and no hollow-sounding areas. RiteWay’s micro-technology allows the existing cracks to move without breaking the membrane of the system. Add a 2 year warranty and owners are offered a long term solution and a significantly less costly undertaking than reconstruction.

SAND
Sand is a very important component of the surfacing system and the type and size of the sand particles is essential to insure the final surface meets the expectations of the manufacturer’s specifications and those playing on the surface. The colour coating system comprises of two primary products: Resurfacer and ColourCoat.

For the resurfacer, sand size should be between 50 and 60 mesh and be angular. This allows the resurfacer to have a strong film strength and provide a somewhat rough surface to permit good adhesion and wear characteristics with top ColourCoats.

For ColourCoat, sand size should be between 80 and 100 mesh and be round. The rounded shape helps the sand to roll under the squeegee, instead of dragging through like a small stone.

This helps to minimize surface streaking and provide a smoother, blemish-free surface. A smoother finish also reduces the accumulation of tennis ball fuzz, which can reduce court cleaning activities. Sourcing the correct type and grade of sand for resurfacer and colour insures that all of the materials in the colour coat system are identical to those used by SportMaster for product testing and ITF ratings.
